Lord’s Provision

Lord's Provision

“So Abraham called that place The Lord Will Provide. And to this day it is said, “On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided.” Genesis 22:14
God is so loving, and caring. He really takes care of all our needs. The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want . Psalm 23:1

Throughout the Bible we can see examples of Gods provision for his the earth He created and the animals. But for us; He provides special care for our needs, our practical needs, and our protection. A few examples of provision on the Bible would be:

1Ch 17:9 security in the promised land;
Isa 61:3 consolation in grief;
Jer 33:6-9 restoration from captivity;
1Co 10:13 a way of escape from temptation

I have certain needs. Honestly, we usually identify with needing one thing or another that becomes a burden on our hearts. If we have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, Hopefully we are bringing our needs and cares to him. Being a child of the most high God does not mandate you will no longer want/need anything. But what to do while you wait?

For me; I remind myself I am more valuable than the birds, and God cares even for them. But how? when? Honestly Lord; I think it would be best if everything were revealed to me ; in advance (I know you have thought that as well). While I have been wanting, needing and waiting; I do honestly thank God for His provision that would come. Still waiting…. Do you feel like that? Despite doing “all the right things” you are still waiting?

What we sometimes fail to see is the daily sustaining provision already in place. Your wants may still be wanting, and you still may be waiting for many things. Rest assured; God takes care of the needs that line up with His will for our lives.

Another point. Sometimes we don’t look at what is right in front of us. Take a look around. God is setting things up. Giving the provision “just in time” He knows your prayers. He has a plan for your life, greater than you could ever think ask or imagine. He is more than willing and capable through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.

Recently I repented to God for not having enough faith in Him, with in my situation, I surmised that after becoming unraveled during a worry session pity party I had while alone . That same day; I asked God to have His way in every part of my situation. It was then I gave Him control & permission (HA, like God needs my permission;) to handle my needs His way; with His plan.

The result of my throwing up my hands, and surrendering this great need in my life was fairly immediate and quite overwhelming. Instantly I felt the stress leave my body; I was filled with the Peace of God. My mind was renewed. He blessed my comings & goings, brought connections in my life that I needed. Additionally I received favor in areas I did not expect and doors have begun to open regarding my need. Oh, and another thing: God provided immediate opportunity for me to brag on how good and able my Lord is within this season of my life! Our God is Amazing!

Comon, someone celebrate with me!! While this season is not over, God has taught me a priceless lesson about his provision for me. Remember, it is on the mountain of the Lord, it will be provided.

While you are waiting for the Lord to provide in your life; Remember to spend your time on the mountain, Cherish all examples of provision shared in the Bible, and brag on the daily manna that is being provided to you. God is so faithful; He is with you in this season of need in your life.

Tonight I wish you the peace of God which passes all understanding. Rest in Him. He will provide all your needs; according to His riches of His glory. AMEN.
